Lectin Free foods fall into five broad categories:
1. Fresh Vegetables: Leafy greens, herbs, and vegetables from the cruciferous family..
2. Good Fats: Nuts, avocados, and olive oil..
3. Good Protein: Grass Fed, Pastured or wild caught..
4. Resistant Starches: Root vegetables and grains without hulls..
5. Fresh Fruit: Preferably organic, local and in season..

What types of food contain the most lectins? Nightshade fruits and vegetables – Such as white potatoes, tomatoes, eggplants, and peppers. Goji berries are also part Grains – Whole grains have more, since they are found in higher concentrations in the outer bran. Dairy – Pasteurized milk and dairy.
Hazelnuts, walnuts, peanuts, pecans, sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, and sesame seeds.If you want to reduce your lectin intake, it is best to use foods such as salad, sweet potatoes, carrots, green leafy vegetables, broccoli, horseradish, mushrooms, avocado, celery, and asparagus. Where are lectins found? Lectins are getting found wherever gluten.
Lower quality meats, for example, may be fed low-quality, GMO grains, corns, etc. that are unnatural and less healthy for the animals and may cause the meat to contain lectins. Other products like butter or cheese may also be labelled grass-fed which implies that the cows are grass-fed.
